Oreoluwa Brown, Ibrahim Chatta Show Love To The Poor- Provide Food and Clothes

Filmmaker/musician, who is now a minister of the word, Apostle Oreoluwa Brown Adeseoju, has hit the street of Lagos with the sole aim of feeding and clothing the poor in the community. The vocal preacher,  who is ending a seven-week program,  “encounter with grace” says this last week of the spiritual event is the week of his birthday so he decided to impact his immediate environment through “Acts Of The Apostle 2018” with the theme “Arise”. The “Arise” week of the  Acts of Apostle began with an outreach powered by the Adeseoju Foundation that has fed and clothed the poor for years. The first set of people to feels the impact of this outreach were beggars around  Agege-a suburb in Lagos, were the beneficiaries received food, drinks,  clothing items and other forms of aid with joy. Nollywood is on my mind and it's for a heartwarming reason. This Made-in-Lagos industry caught the attention of the world last week in a very significant way. First, two of its illustrious stakeholders - Femi Odugbemi, cerebral filmmaker; arrowhead of IRep International Documentary Film Festival and the man that will drive Multichoice's Talent Factory as well as star actor Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde were invited into the new set of cineastes from across the globe to join the Academy of Motion Picture Association as voting members. In other words, Femi and Omotola now have voting rights in determining which films and filmmakers now win the OSCARS. The invitation is a major accomplishment for these two professionals and for Nollywood as a home-grown industry.
