Senator Dino Melaye Denied Access To His “Lawyers, Family Members And Food”

Senator Dino Melaye, representing Kogi west at the National Assembly, says he has been denied access to his attorneys, family members and food for the past 24-hours.

ALEDEH recalls that Senator Melaye was arrested by the Nigeria Police Force and was to be paraded later on Tuesday evening, April 24 with other hardened criminals who implicated him in the crime that necessitated his arrest.
Apparently not prepared for the parade, Senator Melaye reportedly jumped out of a police moving vehicle conveying him to Kogi state and ran into a thick bush.
The police operatives also jumped out of the vehicle and gave the fleeing lawmaker a hot chase. Senator Melaye injured himself in the process and was rushed to a private hospital.
