Police Report: Foster Threw Girlfriend's Dog Across Room

The woman who accused Reuben Foster of domestic violence earlier this year has since recanted, but prosecutors are sure to use the details of the initial police report in trying to make a case against the San Francisco 49ers star.

Among the disturbing allegations is one that sounds like animal abuse.

Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee shared some of the previously unreported details from the Feb. 11 police report, and Foster’s ex-girlfriend Elissa Ennis told police the former Alabama star threw her dog across the room during an argument the night before. Ennis said the dog was not injured.
Foster insists he never assaulted Ennis, but he apparently admitted to smashing two of her cell phones, one just outside his house as she was calling 911 on Feb. 11. A friend of Foster’s was also staying in the house at the time, but he told police he was in his room at the time of the incident and did not witness any arguments or physical altercations.
Because her initial claims were so detailed and disturbing, prosecutors could still charge Foster. Ennis told police Foster hit her “hard, but not that hard” and described the pain she sustained when he punched her as an eight out of 10. She also said Foster dragged her downstairs by her hair, threw her out of his home, and threatened to kill her or have someone kill her if she called the police.
Foster recently had one of his charges dismissed, but he is still facing some serious potential legal trouble despite Ennis recanting.
