I Warned Against Herdsmen, Kidnapping Long Ago- Ayo Fayose

Former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has disclosed that he foresaw and warned against herdsmen menace long before it became rampant.

Fayose on his twitter handle on Thursday noted that he had earlier warned leaders against killings and kidnappings.

The former governor stated that the country will continue to battle security challenges if leaders do not put the people’s well-being above party loyalty.

Fayose wrote “I warned against kidnappings & herdsmen menace now bedeviling the S/West & Nigeria long ago.”

“We have now become conquered people & we will remain (sic) defenseless except our leaders & Govs desist from wanting to be seen as ‘Cabal Yes Men’ at the expense of well-being of the people,” he said.
