Algeria has tasted victory just once. It has been 20 years since they won the trophy for the first time. Algeria would definitely give its. But can the Desert Foxes with all their team play hold their sway against the Teranga Lions who are packed with quality players.

Senegal, on the other hand, has never won the AFCON. They have everything to play for. Owing to their trophy drought they might come out against the Desert Foxes as a hungry Teranga Lions. The hungry they are for their first trophy would definitely be a big problem for the Desert Foxes to contain.

According to Africanews, Aliou Cisse said he is confident of his team, despite the trophy drought they have had in the past. He believes that his team would do better than the previous teams.
‘‘I have unlimited trust in my players and I felt they want to achieve something. They did all what is needed to win. This generation is better than the 2002 one. My players told me they will be better than us, and they did.’‘

How would the City of Cairo stand after Friday’s final? The City would definitely experience great evaporation of emotions and pains. The winning fans would go routing. Sky rocket chants and jubilation would be held from distant far. The losers would only tend their wounds in silence. They would be locked in an emotional dungeon of the errors they should have averted.

Hope to see you catch the fever of the final. Stay tuned to us for more information.
