The CAF president after seeking permission from the Executive Council asked Amaju Pinnick to replace Kwesi Nyantakyi. Kwesi had to quit the post last year due to the corruption scandal surrounding Ghana Football Association.

But today the story is on another level. Pinnick himself has now been removed and replaced by Constant Omari Selemani. Selemani is said to be a member of the FIFA Council and a Congolese football administrator.

The reason for Pinnick being replaced with Selemani is yet to be made known. Pinnick is the president of Nigeria Football Federation.
