SARS Operative Reportedly Kills Innocent Man In Lagos
A security operative suspected to be of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) has shot dead a male cleaner identified as Francis in Ilupeju area of Lagos.
The operative was said to have killed the cleaner on Monday when shots were fired at a group of hemp smokers on Ajisegiri Street.
The officers reportedly fled the scene immediately.
A photo of the incident posted on social media by a witness showed a bucket containing brooms, a parker, and brush which are tools of the deceased, beside his remains.
Police have not made an official statement on the matter.
