Malaika Thrills Fans At Felabration 2018
Popular Nigerian fuji star Alhaji Sulaimon Alao Adekunle better known as Malaika was the cynosure of all eyes at the ongoing Felabration music festival.
The Fuji music icon was among the first set of artists that performed at Freedom Park Lagos Island and The New African Shrine Ikeja respectively. It was jubilation galore when the master compere introduced the Qibla fuji music on stage.
He praised Fela Anikulapo Kuti for the great legacy left behind him. Fela would have clocked 80th years on Monday 15th October 2018 had it been he is alive.
Malaika stressed that Fela is an icon and a great man.
“It has shown that Fela Anikulabo Kuti is a great man. Even in his grave, a lot of people are still celebrating him in a great deal till date. He fought for a lot of people that is the reason we are celebrating him today. Fela lives forever”, Malaika said.
Meanwhile, one of the foremost media outfits in Nigeria, City People Magazine has nominated Malaika in the Fuji Music category. He was nominated as one of the Best Fuji Musicians of the year 2017-2018 under review. The winner will be announced on Sunday 28th October 2018 in a hilarious awards ceremony party billed to hold at prestigious Balmoral Hall, Oregun Ikeja, Lagos.

In addition, penultimate week, he dazzled at Owu Festival. And Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba Olusanya Adegboyega Dosunmu showered encomium on Fuji music star, Malaika for dexterity performances he displayed at the Festival, Abeokuta Ogun state.
The event which took place on Saturday 6th October 2018 at Owu Round About. It witnessed lots of the indigenes trooping out to take part at the annual event.
The King, Oba Olusanya Adegboyega praised Malaika for answering their calls when it is most needed.
“I called Malaika once to perform at this year’s Owu Festival ceremony, he answered me quickly. He never turned me down. It shows he is a true son of Owu kingdom”, the king said.
“Despite his busy schedules, he graced the event with his crew. We are very excited about this. We wish him the best of luck. We want to seeing him taking part in Owu Festival every year henceforth.”
The event is another historical one for the newly crown Password Fuji Music, Alhaji Sulaimon Alao Malaika. Since the inception of the festival, this is the first time he would perform. The event was really memorable for the Qibla Fuji Music.
He thrilled the fans with great songs from his current album, Golden Jubilee and other previous albums like Proper Music, Super Star, Special Day and others.
Nevertheless, Malaika is gearing up to shoot video of the Original album. His management has started sourcing for locations to beautify the video shoot.
